  • High through-put (HTP)- isolation (pull down) of intracellular protein complexes using automation procedures on the Biomek FX (Biorobot), HTP-purification of over-expressed proteins using the same automation platform.
  • HTP-purification of proteins using Qiagen Biorobot.
  • Handling with radioactive substances, isotope labeling of peptide.
  • Chemical synthesis and modification of bio-organic compounds. Application of spectrometric methods (nmr, ir, uv, fluorescence).
  • Separation methods for chemical compounds and biomolecules (HPLC, FPLC, chromato-focusing, capillary electrophoresis [CE]).
  • Membrane biochemistry (Sugar Transport, Transport kinetics, Affinity labeling, Isolation and separation of membrane components, Purification of Membrane Proteins, Reconstitution of proteins into proteoliposomes).
  • Cell culture, transfection and expression.
  • Immunological studies (design polyclonal antipeptide antibodies), immuno-labeling, immuno-precipitation, immuno-affinity chromatography.
  • Interactions of small molecules(ligand) and membrane proteins.
  • Structural and functioanl relationship of a membrane protein (sodium/glucose cotransport protein).
